In partnership with the Christopher Wallace Estate, Budweiser has designed a New York exclusive can, inspired by Biggie’s legendary hip-hop career that has garnered him the GOAT within the rap community. Phrases including “King of New York” and “Brooklyn’s Finest” are accompanied by the Brooklyn skyline to further commemorate the legendary rapper’s hometown. Budweiser also replaced the creed on the can with Biggie’s iconic lyric from “Unbelievable” – “Live from Bedford-Stuyvesant the livest one, Representing BK to the fullest.”
Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace comments on the limited-edition cans and partnership with Budweiser stating, “I am honored to know that a brand such as Budweiser wanted to celebrate my son in this way. Christopher’s legacy and brand value are extremely important to myself and the family and memorializing him on the can of an iconic beer brand as Budweiser is something I believe he would be happy with.”
