Dr. Ansel Augustine (catholic priest), knew of Chad Butler (Pimp C) from his time working at Q93 in New Orleans and was a huge UGK fan. In 2002, when Dr. Augustine heard that Pimp C was in prison, he started writing him. At this time, Dr. Augustine worked in ministry and continued his conversations with Pimp. At Pimps' suggestion, Dr. Augustine connected with Momma Wes (Pimp's mother). Momma Wes and Dr. Augustine ended up being evacuated to the same hotel in Houston, TX following Hurricane Katrina hitting New Orleans and Hurricane Rita hitting Port Arthur. They continued to be close and Dr. Augustine would visit Momma Wes in Port Arthur, and the house Pimp lived in whenever he would travel between Houston and New Orleans up until Momma Wes passed away.
